Leider seid ihr da nicht zu finden, aber schon lustig, dass ein Vorort von Melbourne Heidelberg heisst.
Unfortunately I can't find you there but it is kind of funny that a suburb of Melbourne is named Heidelberg.

Und hier noch was Schoenes fuer die Sandra. Den Kleinen haben wir in der WG gefunden wo ich gerade bin. Kommt hier wohl oefter vor, dass man unangekuendigten Besuch bekommt. Ist der nicht suess? Du haettest dabei sein muessen!!!

Viel Neues ist bisher nicht geschehen, aber natuerlich hab ich hin und wieder Bilder gemacht und die besten zeig ich euch mal.
Not much happend but of course I took some pictures and now I will show you the best of them.

Dirk in dem Pub um die Ecke. Dort starten wir meistens wenn wir in die Stadt gehen. Danach sind wir mal wieder im 3rd Club gelandet. Da ich eine Beschwerde erhalten habe, dass ich auf den Bildern nicht so oft zu sehen bin, gleich mal 2 davon. Und das kommt dabei raus...

Labor

Nun muss ich mich erstmal bei all denen entschuldigen, die nichts mit Laborarbeit am Hut haben. Das wird echt langweilig. *lach* Fuer alle anderen hoffe ich, dass ihr meine Begeisterung teilen koennt. Ansonsten noch vielen Dank an Bernd (er hat mir sehr geholfen). Fiona ist echt klasse und ich habe einiges gelernt und hatte ne Menge Spass. Ist schon ein lustiger Haufen.
First of all I have to say sorry to everyone who hase nothing to do with laboratory work. That will be fucking boring. *lol* For everyone else I hope that you will be as enthusiasm as me. On this way I want to say thank you to Bernd (he helped me a lot). Fiona and all the others were very nice and I learned a lot and I had lots of fun.
Eigentlich auch nichts anderes als in der BBA. Oben alles was so zu Gelen dazu gehoert und rechts der Beweis, ICH hab da geschafft. Also wie gesagt, nichts Aussergewoehnliches, ausser vielleicht...

...ein PCR-Automat mit Touch-Screen. Das ist so schoen und einfach einzustellen und macht auch noch richtig viel Spass mit dem Stift darauf rumzudruecken (ich bin total begeistert, sorry). Ich will auch sowas...

...ein Spectralphotometer. Man braucht nur ein Microliter drauf zu pipettieren, zuklappen und fertig. Nix verduennen und danach einfach nur wegwischen.
Dann gab es da noch lauter Roboter die einem alles pipettiert haben. Ich fand es toll. Wahrscheinlich hat der ein oder andere von euch das alles schon gesehen und ist garnicht so begeistert wie ich aber ich musste das mal loswerden.
...a spectralphotometre. You only have to pipette one microlitre on it, close the lid and that's it. Nothing to dilute and after the messurement just wipe it away.
Then there were a lot of robots who were pipetting everything for you. That was great.
I guess some of you have allready seen those things and it is not very exciting for you but I had to write that down.
Und wenn man mal nix zu tun hat oder die Kreativitaet einen dazu zwingt dann muss man halt mal was anderes machen. Das kennen wir ja alle...
And when there was nothing to do or the creativity forced you to then you have to do something else. Don't we all know that feeling?

Fuer mich gab es dann am Freitag noch zum Abschied ein Barbeque. Das da in der Mitte sind Kaenguruwuerstchen. Schon etwas makaber... Das erste Kaenguru was ich gesehen hab war tot und das zweite esse ich. War aber echt gut, dafuer dass ich sonst keine Wuerstchen mag.
Nach diesem Bild hat es geregnet...
On my last day we had a Barbeque to say goodbye. The sausages in the middle are kangaroomeat. Kind of morbid... The first kangaroo I've seen was dead and the second one I ate. But it was really good for that I usually don't like sausages.
After I took that picture it started to rain...

Mal wieder feiern... Party again

Wie immer hatte ich ne Menge Spass. Auch das Nachtleben in Melbourne bietet einiges. Hab ich schon erwaehnt wie sehr es mir hier gefaellt? Das auf dem Foto mit mir ist Belinda. Sie ist wirklich toll und sehr lieb.
Like everytime I had a lot of fun. The nightlife in Melbourne offers a lot. Did I mention how much I like it here? On this picture you see Belinda with me. She is lots of fun and very nice.

Backpackers at Federation Square

Meine Zeit im Backpackers war nur von kurzer Dauer. Es war echt schoen, aber viel zu laut direkt am Fed Square wenn man am naechsten Tag arbeiten muss. Ich vermisse die Strassenreinigung um 4 Uhr morgens. Hier einige Bilder von den allabendlichen Veranstaltungen. Ueber Langeweile konnte ich mich nicht gerade beklagen.
My time at the backpackers hostel was only short timed. It was really nice but to loud beside Fed Square if you have to work the next day. I miss the sound of the street cleaner at 4am. Here are some pictures of the every evening events. I couln't complain about boredom.

Der Leute mit den Wassereimern auf dem Kopf... die waren lustig, haben kaum eine Miene verzogen, es sei dann man hat ein Bild geschossen, dann wurden sie etwas muerrisch, weil das Blitzlicht geblendet hat.
The people with waterbuckets on their heads... they were funny, no expressions on their face unless you took a picture. Then they got grumpy because the flashlight blinded them.

Leider ist das Bild etwas unscharf. Die hier haben wie wild auf dem Wagen rumgetrommelt, sind rumgehuepft, drumrumgeflogen und hatten einfach nur sauviel Spass.
Unfortunately this picture is a bit diffuse. These guys were drumming madly on this wagon, were jumping and flying around and had lots of fun.

Sayoko aus Japan. Das war teilweise Verstaendigung mit den Haenden und Zeichnungen aber sehr lustig.
Bald kommen auch noch ein paar Bilder von Melbourne bei Tag. Mittlerweile hab ich mich echt in diese Stadt verliebt und es gibt sehr viel zu sehen.
Sayoko from Japan. It was talking with hands and printings sometimes but very funny.
Soon I will put pictures from Melbourne in daytime in. Meanwhile I really fell in love with this city and there is so much to see.
